FR : 1 MTH/MIN traverse le printemps 2020 du point de vue principal de l’auteur sur le monde extérieur pendant cette période particulière. Chaque image représente un balayage de 24 heures pris chaque jour du 21 mars au 21 juin. À travers le cadre d’une fenêtre, le paysage met en scène des phénomènes naturels : la floraison des arbres, les changements météorologiques, l’extension de la lumière du jour jusqu’au solstice d’été… Il s’agit d’une réflexion sur l’espace-temps sous une forme cinématographique. D’un point de vue sédentaire, ce dispositif explore la capacité du film à jouer avec ces dimensions par une compression efficace d’un temps de confinement vraiment long.

EN : 1 MTH/MIN crosses the spring of 2020 from the author’s main view of the outside world during this particular period. Each image represents a 24-hour scan taken every day from March 21 to June 21. Through the frame of a window, the landscape depicts natural phenomena: the flowering of trees, changes in the weather and the extension of daylight until the summer solstice… It is a reflection on space-time in a cinematographic form. From a sedentary point of view, this device explores the film’s ability to play with these dimensions by an effective compression of a confinement time that seems really long.
